I KNOW there are a lot of problems in this world. I KNOW mother earth has a lot of pressure on her with global warming, droughts, fire and a whole list of other issues that need her attention. I KNOW how much we all need to work together to make our world a better place to live. For us in the Northern hemisphere spring is here and that means getting our boats ready. Ready to enjoy the beauty, joy, peace and solitude of our lakes, gulfs and oceans. I would like to ask each member of the Tugnut family to remember to use care when using chemicals cleaning, painting and polishing our boats. Spilling a little diesel fuel, cleaner, oil or other toxins in the water may not sound like much individually but when multiplied by thousands of boaters it adds up. Please be mindful of our planets waters. It's the only planet we have and I KNOW if we all take a little extra time and effort to be safe and careful we will all be winners.

Peace

I was wondering about this subject not too long ago. Are there brands of cleaners out there that are safer for the environment then others? I guess I sort of assumed that washing your boat with a bucket of soapy water is considered gray water and therefore ok to go into the water.
