Gh10 unit

My Gh10 unit on a Ranger 25sc 2011 seems to be working but screen is not illuminated so difficult to operate. Any suggestions on where to look for a fix? On the way to Rendezvous tomorrow so a little help sooner than later would be great- otherwise I might have to dust off obscure corners of white mater and plot a course with charts.
