I need to attempt to re-calibrate my autopilot compass. In order to do that, I need to get to the 'Dealer Autopilot Configuration' and walk through the wizard. However, I only see the 'User Autopilot Config' on my GHC 10 at the moment. I know there is a trick to get the dealer config to show but am unsure what it is. Please advise.

Hopefully it isn't the heading sensor again. I had it replaced in February for a similar situation.

Sincerely,
Jon Rider

From another thread :

Select MENU
SETUP
SYSTEM
SYSTEM INFORMATION
Hold center button for 5 seconds
(Dealer Mode should appear on the screen)
Select BACK
BACK
MENU
SETUP
DEALER AUTOPILOT CONFIG

If it remember correctly there might one more "enter" in there but it was pretty obvious. Original thread is viewtopic.php?f=5&t=14196&p=94315&hilit=Autopilot+setup#p94315

This is how my 7612 now works after an update
Select Home
Select SETTINGS (Center Button)
Select MY VESSEL from options on right hand side of screen
Select AUTOPILOT INSTALLATION SETUP from options on right hand side of screen
Select WIZARDS from options on right hand side of screen
The wizards are then available as choices. Select SEA TRIAL WIZARD

You will then be given instructions to drive the boat to calibrate the electronic compass.

Also, here is a link to a YouTube Video that explains how the Sea Trial Wizard works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZbUvr2i2rE

Good to know -- the instructions I posted were for the autopilot display. I did not know it was possible in the 7612 as well. It's good to have 2 options!

Just got this from Garmin to calibrate my Autopilot...

Enabling Dealer Configuration:

1 From the GHC 20 heading screen, select Menu > Setup > System > System Information.

2 Hold the center key for 5 seconds. Dealer Mode appears.

3 Select Back, Back again

4 Go to dealer autopilot setup

5 select wizards

6 Go to dockside finish this

7 Go out in open water and do sea trial

8 Once this is done, please power down the GHC 20 with the power button in order to save the new settings.

Thank you for choosing Garmin.
