After reading many articles on Tugnuts, I changed out the stock AC batteries on my 21ec for two 6 volt golf cart batteries. My tug now lists to starboard and sits below the waterline on the starboard and aft sides. For those that converted to golf cart batteries did you have any issues and if so how did you resolve them. Thank you

Hello Pearl,

I have two 6V golf cart batteries in the PORT aft "compartment." I guess it lists a little, but with me at the helm (port side), it's minimal. I didn't do anything in particular to correct it. Maybe more beverages in the fridge would help...

Oh wait, I just noticed you said listing to STB...hmm...my boat (2013 MY) had factory a/c which the first owner had removed...anyway the a/c battery bank was aft/PORT per factory installation. With the fuel filter and Yanmar exhaust on the aft/STB it would be tight to get two batteries in that spot.

Fair winds,

dave

I moved my starting battery to the aft port compartment and put my 2 golf carts under the engine box. The boat sits just fine in the water.
