Gov. Inslee Proposes Trade-in Cap

On this evening's news, Channel 5 reported Gov. Inslee is proposing a trade-in cap on cars, which would limit the amount of trade-in credit to $10K. The result would increase the amount of sales tax due to an ultimately higher price out the door. The closing comment by the news anchor was that this would also apply to boats and other "luxury" items. This will bear watching, and possibly lobbying, by those who think they may want to trade their boat in for a new(er) boat from a factory/dealer/broker sometime in the future.

Whatever happened to property rights in this country? Or right-of-contract? Oh, yeah, they don't lend enough revenue to our "leaders" spending programs.
