In the middle of taking care of Patrick's auto pilot install, I e mailed Andrew to ask about a couple of issues that cropped up over the last few days, specifically what appeared to be a clogged fuel vent and an engine error message I received the other day. I just expected an e mail reply with some advice as I planned on trying to work on the vent on my own and was just curious what the error message meant and whether or not it required some action. Ronnie from the Cutwater plant also weighed in with a suggestion for the vent issue.
Instead of resolving my questions with the expected e mail, Kenny called me today to tell me he was going to be in my area and that he'd stop by my boat to check out both problems in person, which he did. Andrew had also contacted the local Yanmar engine dealer and got me additional information on my error code and sent me a link for the PDF version of the Teleflex user guide I'd been unable to find on the Internet or get from Yanmar.
That's customer service at its best.
