FYI if any body is interested in helping with the impending oil cleanup task my wife Anita's Cousin, Don Abrams has created and is coordinating a website for volunteers to help clean up this environmental disaster . OilSpillVolunteers.com
It is full of information and will be growing daily as a resource for the cleanup efforts .
Don lives in Ocean Springs Miss. and is an active enviornmental advocate and kills alot of fish with his flyrod too .
He is doing this on his personal time and any help would be appreciated .
Florida has declared a state of Emergency on the Gulf Coast . I will try to post the message from Governon Charlie Christ when I can figure out how to do so.

Having signed up to volunteer, I would encourage anyone that has any possibility to help, to sign up. Having spent years airboating in La., offshore fishing in Al., and sitting on beaches in Fl., I must try to repay nature for others to enjoy.

Bruce , thank you , as of 9 P.M. eastern time , the volunteer site is up to almost 5000 people registered, many with valuable qualifications and resources and so far BP is not recognizing the value or utilizing the resources.
Here is a quote from [ personal e mail] my cousin in law Don from earlier today
"Thanks. I'm happy that the word is getting out. More meeting with BP toay and more frustration. We're trying to give them 4000 volunteers, HAZMAT and HAZWOPER trained people, boat operators, boats, ... and they aren't listening. We've done a dozen media interviews so far today. Everything from the MS Press to German national public radio. Maybe BP will pay attention soon." No politics, just facts .
