Gulf Islands June 11th-19th 2011

While it may be a year away, we are starting to plan our tour of the Gulf Island this next June. The itinerary is not nailed down with the exceptions being, we will clear Canadian Customs at Poets Cove and US Customs at Friday Harbor. With clearing customs in Poets, we will spend the first two nights there. The ladies have asked for a "Spa Day" at Poets Resort. From there, we still need to plan.

This years cruise has been great with incredible weather and company!

Good chance the Port Nut will be there, so sign me up! June is a good time to cruise these waters as the big crowds have not yet shown up. Perhaps Montague Harbour should be added. There is a good park for hiking and a bus takes you to the pub (and a store too). Two other pleasant stops I have discovered are Wallace Island (Conover Cove) and Pirate's Cove on De Courcy. Both are small anchorages but we can raft and stern-tie. The hikes on both islands are easy and very nice.
