hate idiot lights on any engine monitoring system

My little Yanmar two lunger uses idiot lights for oil pressure and temps. I'd like to "parallel" those with analog gauges. I suspect that the Yanmar are flip type sensors meaning on or off, rather than analog.

Has anyone else added analog gauges to their older 21?
