Hi, can someone recommend where to place the travel lift slings for the subject boat? I've seen references on Tugnuts for centering the aft sling under the inboard engine and the forward sling under the helm station. Is that accurate? Thank you in advance. GF

Those are pretty good landmarks. I've never seen anything official but looking at old photos I have been lifted there over the past years. One thing... don't go too far aft on the rear sling. Part of the skeg where the prop shaft goes thru is a separate piece from the hull and is bolted on. That point is obviously aft of the engine.

However, when the boat is put up on blocks, I'd make sure they are not putting any blocks aft of the drain plug.
No idea how much load that skeg extension can take.

The best location for slings is just aft of the bow rails and just aft of the cabin door wall.

Hello All,

Just aft of the cabin bulkhead for the rear and right in the middle of the sliding port and starboard windows for the front is what I aim for. If you're going to be loading on and off of a trailer with bunk cutouts it'll be helpful to mark those locations with stickers on the hull so you know where to place the slings when retrieving the boat.
