On my 2022 R31 I have a new little (I hope) problem
When I plug in shore power I get a red hazard light on the panel instead of a green light for charger, and of course no power to the as circuits. It happens on any pedestal I plug into. I get a red led light on the cord plug. I check and recheck the plug ins at both ends to be certain. There’s not a loose connection. I check the GFI switch under the seat, it’s never tripped and doesn’t do anything when push the reset or test buttons.
So anyone else experience this?
Right now Boat’s at marina without shore power, so it’s safe, but more or less immobilized.

Not familiar with your boat's setup / configuration / switches, but a red light on my 2012 R27 AC selector switch (i.e. is the AC current coming from Shore Power, Generator or Inverter) indicates reversed polarity. If that is the case, disconnect from Shore Power and notify your dock master. It may be your dock's utility post is wired incorrectly or something else is defective. HTH, Gary

No, not that
It’s done this at three different marinas at 3 different pedestals
After a period of 5 months with no problem

Sounds like the problem is on the boat then. Could be a manufacturing fault in wiring (e.g. loose, short, etc.). I would contact your dealer and see if its under warranty. HTH, Gary

Yes, it is a problem in the boat wiring somewhere. She’s only 5 months old so it’s a warranty issue. Got it from the factory. So they’ll probably solve it with me.

Hi Ernie,

Yes, definitely discuss this with your dealer so they can help with diagnosis and handle any warranty that applies. Hopefully that'll help save you some time and get this resolved asap. Let us know if there are any additional issues.

Cheers,

Ralf

Brayhan and Conner got this problem resolved today down at Des Moines
It was probably a wire in the back of the cockpit outlet where the shore power plugs in
Great guys, they really got on it!

Most likely the shore power plug at the transom was not wired properly from the factory. Hopefully they inspected each connection from the shore power plug to the panel. Confirming proper placement of the Neutral and Hot at each 120V connection ELCI , AC panel and the inverter if so equipped.
