looking to buy a Ranger Tug R25
On my 2008 R25 toilet I have developed a leak around the connection between the pipe coming from the toilet to where it joins the pipe in the deck. I am sure it is the gasket that joins the 2 pipes. I cannot find anything on the toilet to tell what the make and model of the toilet is, and I don't have a manual on the toilet. The toilet has a small switch to the left of the top of the toilet that is labeled "Wet bowel" and "dry bowel" with a pump handle in front of that switch. Does anyone have an idea of what the make of the toilet is so I can go on-line and order a gasket and a manual.
thanks

Could be the Joker Valve. If you never replaced it it’s worth doing as it improves the operation of the toilet.

On my "09 R25, I got the rebuild kit from Defender. Pretty sure it was Jabsco parts. That model head is no longer made, but there were most parts available two years ago. If you can"t find any info on the tag on the pump, I could get to the boat and look for the kit number.

Great. Thanks for the info. 2 more questions. What is a Joker Valve? If you could get the # that would be great.

One more question. This is the first marine toilet I have had so I am not sure how to correctly use it. My toilet has a lever that can be moved from dry bowel to wet bowel and a plunger handle. Not sure when to move the lever from wet bowel to dry bowel and what each does and when to use the plunger. I have figured out moving the plunger up and down will empty the bowel the lever on wet bowel. I usually put fresh water in the bowel move the lever to wet bowel then pump the plunger which empties the bowel. So I am not sure what dry bowel is for.
Thanks Bryant

Dry bowel will not bring more water into the bowl. If you are adding fresh water keep it on dry and pump it out. When the lever is on wet it should bring sea water in if the sea strainer is open. Search Jabsco Joker valve on You Tube and will find videos on replacing it.

Well that stinks 🙂

First of all, Doke 01 LOL
Second, thanks for the info about the use of the levers. I have been doing it completely wrong. Will go on line and order the parts you needed. Great utube video on replacing the Joker Valve. First project next spring.
