Heater vents and hose

I'm installing a diesel heater in our R23 and would like to know where you get the stock heater vents ( there are 2 different types on our boat) and hose material.

We buy our diesel heaters from Webasto as a kit not individual parts, the kit we buy is the AT2000ST with Smarttemp controller. I would check your local Webasto dealer or check online for individual parts.

I installed my own and used a Planar unit. Here is a link for their accessories. I am not sure if they are compatible with what you have

Perfect. I got the PLANAR 2D-12 and plan to mount it under bench seat like the factory. How is yours working, any install tips would be great

I am very happy with mine, it works like a charm. If you have any questions they where quick to answer. The hardest part for me was getting the nerve up to cut the holes for venting and exhaust. I did not install a cold air return as I wanted to add fresh air into the cabin so it pressurizes the cabin somewhat so less drafts. Have had ours for over 4 years and zero issues. It has only quit on me twice, both times where because of low battery. It ws all very easy to install I took way longer then I should have to install it thinking it should be harder

Be sure to loop the exhaust line to avoid water getting in through the hull port from draining into the heater's combustion chamber.

When you use the term "Bench seat" is that the port side seat that sits atop the microwave ?

Where do you intend to install the diesel fuel tank for the heater, and the means for topping it up ?
