What is the height of the swim platform on the 2024/2025 R-25 above the ground while the boat is on the trailer? I want to buy or build a set of folding stairs for the times we camp when on the way to or from a cruising location. Thanks in advance....

I'm a little over 5'7" and it's roughly chin height. I'm going to guess a shade over 5 feet. If you look at this image I have a ladder which has a platform on it 3 steps up and it is absolutely perfect for getting on and off the swim platform. ( Mine is a R27OB but it's about the same as an R25 )

PS I know it not what you asked, but JIC... You won't be able to use the HVAC while "boaterhoming" . It requires the raw water intake.

Thank you! Being in our mid-seventies, a step ladder would be a bit challenging. There are a couple of folding stairways with hand rails that would give us safer egress and exit. I can fold them up and slide them into the pickup bed for transport. As for the A/C, I do have a roll around A/C that I bought for an enclosed trailer I converted into a camper/toy hauler to transport the Goldwing or Street Bob. And, depending upon water flow, I might be able to use the water hookup in a full hookup campground, though that might be considered as wasteful.

The ladder I'm using is called a "platform ladder". It not like climbing a standard ladder. You go up three steps to the platform, then step onto the swim platform while holding the handrail on the starboard side.

The flow rate of the heat pump is about the same as a garden hose. So yes it'd be pretty wasteful. You'd also have to do some tricky plumbing under the center large hatch in the cockpit. Screenshot 2025-06-21 at 10.42.05 AM.jpg
