Well two feet on a boat can be pretty big. We have a 2010 25SC and really enjoy it. Our record so far is 98 consecutive nights living aboard. For two people on either boat you will be comfortable living aboard, any more than that on either boat is pushing it. The 27 gives you a bit more room in the cabin and the head. The V-Berth and cockpit areas are the same. The Yanmar 4BY2 is the same engine, the extra HP comes from the computerization. I see the 25 includes a trailer, that's probably worth around $10,000.00 new. I can't speak to the asking prices, a boat is worth what someone is willing to pay. Which ever one you decide on have it surveyed before purchasing. They are both great boats, good luck.
