Help with PM

I'm trying to PM a fellow tugnutter and the message only goes to the outbox and sits there. I tried to PM the Administrators for help and yep, you guessed it, it's sitting in my outbox too. Can I get a little help here from someone that knows what's going on plz? Thanks.

That just means they haven't read it. It sits in the outbox until read.

Thanks for the reply. Interesting though. I thought it would have gone to the SENT box regardless if they had read it or not.

PMs are not delivered like email. They work more like a P.O. Box. When you send one it sits in your Out Box AND the recipients In Box. When the recipient opens the message it moves to your Sent Box.

In the User Control Panel under Board Preferences you are able to choose to receive e-mail notification when a new PM arrives in your in box. I'm not sure what the default is.
