Where is the high water alarm on the 2010 R25?

How do I periodically test it?

Is it self powered? or independently powered on its own fuse/circuit?

Thank you

Found it, just forward of the engine after I removed 4 screws on the step panel.

I see it on the schematic but haven't eyeballed the physical switch. Is it a dedicated switch or integral to the bilge pump?

The alarm is separate from the bilge pump. You should have two similar sensors. One is for the pump and the other is for the alarm. I suggest that you make testing all your sensors a regular maintenance item. Like at least once a week. I have found that these sensors can become inoperative, hence a false sense of security. Additionally, the alarm has a silence position. I have found it accidentally in that position many times. A regular check of that is another good thing to do.

I found two sensors on the same bracket above one another. The lower sensor operated the mid-ship bilge pump, the upper sensor operates the high water alarm.

Both seemed defective when testing them by holding a wet sponge to the sensor - nothing happened.

The shop replaced the shower sensor instead of the bilge sensor a few days ago - and a cut wire and broken shower hose were the result. Since the shower sensor was not defective, there was no improvement in the mid-ship bilge sensor.

Now, I'll make some time to replace the two sensors and all four will be new.
