All,
Hopefully, when my darned house sells, we will be purchasing either a Ranger R31S R29S or a Cutwater 30S with emphasis most likely on the R31, and most probably used.
I have been a sailor all my life and while we don't intend selling our sail boat to get the Ranger, it would be nice to have a multipurpose boat atop the Ranger to go off and get a sail in while on the hook somewhere and the Hobie tandem Island fits the bill. Kayak/trimaran can be paddled pedaled or sailed. The main hull weighs about 130lbs and the amas and other gear add another 110. the boat is easily stripped but is also 18 ft long. Looks like it would fit pretty well on top of an R31 with the newer longer hardtop.
has anyone figured out a way to get a long weighty item like that up top without breaking their backs?
Thanks all.
