I'm looking for a hoist or davit to lift a kayak onto the racks on my Ranger 25 - does the factory supply or recommend a brand or dealer?
 
I make my wife do it. It's EXPENSIVE, but it works great.
 
There's a ton of stuff on this site about your interest. Just search for davit on Tugnuts. The test for marriageability used to be Pull plow in field?, now its hoist dinghy with one arm? to roof rack.
