Holding Tank - Macerator Pump Rocker Switch

When I turn on the Macerator pump, the switch does not stay on. Fuses are good.

Thoughts?

When you say it does not stay on.... does this mean the switch physically flips to the OFF position ? For a house circuit breaker this typically means there's too much current being drawn or the circuit is shorting to ground.

If you are not equipped with a Y-valve some switches are designed to be held on so that you are aware that you are pumping waste over the side. In our case we had to install a keyed switch that has to be turned on before the macerator pump can start. The key is locked into the switch when it is on. Not sure what requirements might be for your area.
