Holding tank vent replacement

Following the advice of Peggie Hall the marine headmistress who makes a case for more aerobic activity in a holding tank to reduce bad ordors, I want to replace my 5/8" vent line with a 1" vent line. Has anyone done this? where would I get a new larger thru-hull vent replacement? I would appreciate any ideas from those who have tried this before.

Thru hull fittings are all over the web... just google and you'll find them at West Marine, Defender, etc. What you want to make sure you get the right angle fitting... I haven't looked at the one on our tugs... some are straight and others have a 90 degree bend. Good luck.
