Horn on 25SC

Wondering if any tugnuts have some trouble shooting ideas or experience for the horn on the 25SC. When I tested the horn on my 2010 about ninety days ago when I got the boat, it worked but sounded a little sickly. (The proverbial dying duck) Over about a two week period, with use,it came alive and was powerful and normal. Yesteday it worked rather weakly once or twice then no more. We checked the 30 amp fuse behind it and a friend crawled on top to make sure there weren't any birds nests or other blockage, and it did not feel like there were any loose wires behind the instrument panel.

Any ideas on what would be the next things to look into to get this horn working again?

I'd appreciate any help.

Hello Mike

There are instructions somewhere on Tugnuts which give detailed steps on how to "fix" the horns. I'm on my mobile devise now. When I get back to my desktop machine late tomorrow I can look for the instructions. I think Andrew Custis posted them.

Found it. Look under Ranger Tugs Factory Support then Ranger Technical bulletins. Look for "Ongarro Horn..." In the title.
