So, the Balmar SG200 meter on our RT27-OB has worked its way down to 0% SOC over a period of 3-4 days, but the voltage reads 13.5 volts and all AC components seem to be operating normally. On shore power, with the boat up on the lift, the SG200 shows components drawing a total of 2-3 watts. At the same time, the KISAE 60 battery charger indicates “Ful” and 13.5 volts. Is this a problem with the SG200 or should I be concerned about the charging efficiency for the house bank? Thanks.

Had a similar problem on my 2021 R25 OB. Could not resolve and having had previous issues with the Balmar SG200, gave up and replaced with a Victron BMV-712. No issues since.

I would try a couple of things.

The DIN plug has pins that are installed manually into the plug body. I would check to see if these are installed correctly. Might have to gently push them back in. Then check all your connections including the RJ-11 phone cord that plugs into the meter and the shunt. Look for corrosion all around.

I have had mine a few years now and its been reliable.
