Hi Folks - Since discovering these great boats, a plan has been festering in my mind. I'm thinking about kicking off my retirement in a few years by doing The Loop on a Ranger 29. I'm not sure what my plans would be upon completing the loop. I might want to come back to my sailing life in California, or I might be hooked and just keep on puttering around on the Ranger. Here's my question: If I were to buy a new Ranger 29 in Florida (or a used one if it were available), do the Loop for about a year and then sell it, how much do you think I'd lose in terms of resale value? Maybe some Brokers can chime in on this. I know I'll take a hit, just wondering how big of a hit it might be. I'm actually afraid that I'll never want to part with it, but at least this info will fill in one part of the puzzle. Thanks for your thoughts.
Mike
