I have reviewed the manual for the ProMariner and have spoken with Promariner, but Promariner wants me to tell them if the ac panel is before or after the ac panel. I don't have the expertise to answer the Promariner's question as he says it makes a difference and that he can't help me unless he knows how the boat is laid out as all boats are different.

This is a drawing of the shore power wiring diagram. download/file.php?id=731. If you have a TruePower Combi 2500W QS - 110V AC/12V DC Automatic Battery Charger and Inverter: Instant AC transfer switch passes AC shore/station power. Charges batteries when shore/station power or generator is present, or switches safely into DC to AC inverter mode, making AC household power available on the water or on the road.

There are a lot of systems installed on the Rangers and Cutwaters. A boat owner that is not accustom to all the working systems installed can loose a complete season trying to understand how to operate all the electrical and mechanical systems. Some systems may not be working properly or the systems are not functioning because of owner operation. If a boat owner doesn't know what equipment is installed or how to operate it properly it would be a good idea to hire a marine surveyor, a reputable delivery captain, or a reputable dealer to come on board and demonstrate all working systems to the new boat owner. This is not cheap but is well worth the money. A new owner purchasing a new Ranger and Cutwater pays for this option at the factory delivery. A used boat owner needs to do the same only they need to find their own resource. The systems may be installed in different locations in other makes and models but the functions are the same. So any captain or surveyor can provide the service. Then the new boat owner can enjoy all the amenities the boat is equipped with. I highly recommend this to any Ranger or Cutwater owner who is not familiar with the systems.
