How to contact a member?

Tried to contact a member via private message
No success. How can I Email a member if I only know their sign in name? Appreciate help.

Member email addresses are not public, unless the member posts it in a topic thread. Private messages (PMs) often just sit in the recipients inbox, and your outbox, until they check and read them. Then they'll drop out of your outbox.

You can also receive email alerts when you have a PM by setting up the preference:

Click on User Control Panel > click Board Preferences tab > select Edit Global Preference in left side menu > click Yes on Notify me on new private messages.
