My shore power inlet failed and I am replacing it with a different brand. The existing hole’s diameter in the cockpit needs to be enlarged by about 1/4 inch in order for the replacement part to fit. What’s the best cutting technique to use to avoid creating spider cracks in the gelcoat? My initial plan is to put a small abrasive tipped wheel on my drill and slowly ream the edges of the hole. Advice please. Hull number is USFMLR2526C414
