My shore power inlet failed and I am replacing it with a different brand. The existing hole’s diameter in the cockpit needs to be enlarged by about 1/4 inch in order for the replacement part to fit. What’s the best cutting technique to use to avoid creating spider cracks in the gelcoat? My initial plan is to put a small abrasive tipped wheel on my drill and slowly ream the edges of the hole. Advice please. Hull number is USFMLR2526C414

Using a small dremel tool with the sanding end would be the easiest to grind out the hole.

Thanks. This approach worked. Had to be careful to keep the hole ‘round’ so the original mounting screw holes could be reused.
