The subject pretty much says it. There is no obvious nut, screw or other fastener, so it would seem the arm should just pull off a splined shaft. Tried prying on it, and it seemed to move some, but will not come off. Need to re-position it. Boat is 2014 if they differ by year.

Hi Larry,

As mentioned in my last post on this topic there is a set screw in mine (2014 21EC as well). There is a plastic cover at the bottom of the wiper covering the shaft area. Flipping it up will expose the allen head set screw. On mine they are positioned near the bottom so not easy to see but they are there. I can get a photo for you if you wish. Shoot me an email at marcelis@telus.net and I can quickly get it for you.

Hi Larry, Found your email address from a previous topic we had discussed. Just sent you a Pic of the wiper arm with the end cap flipped up exposing the set screw. Was having a bit of trouble attaching the photo so let me know if you get it.

The set screw on mine takes a 2.5mm allen key. I just tried it and the set screw came out easily but I did not try to pry the arm off of the spline. Looks like it would take a bit of solvent to dissolve the salt and free it up. Good luck. Let us know how you make out.

Hi Larry, Revision to my previous post. There are actually 2 set screws holding mine to the shaft. One was not visible but it's there.
