How to remove microwave?

I would like to replace the microwave in my 2014 R-27 with a drawer.

The first problem is to remove the microwave. I removed the teak trim and find that the microwave itself is held in by two clips or brackets at the back of oven. I cannot see how to access the clips. I lifted the seat but there is no access there.

on our R23 you need to unscrew the seat to access the microwave mounting clips. not sure how it's done on the 27

Like Red Raven said you need to access the backside from the 1/4 berth/mid ship berth. There are a few panels that need to be removed in order to gain access to the backside of the microwave to remove. Cannot remember exactly where the outlet is but I believe it is in the same area as the microwave, you may want to think about wanting to use this outlet in the future. You could have an extension cord run out or when you put the drawer in make sure you can access it so it can be used, if you want to use this outlet. If you have any questions feel free to email me.
