how to retract flybridge on 31CB?

Busting down the bridge is really a two person job.
If you are going to prep for trailering, you will also have to drop the mast, knock down seats, and remove the rails. To drop down the mast, you have to loosen the stainless shrouds. You do this by taking off the little velcro straps that are on the turnbuckle. Those straps have an embedded pin that goes through the turnbuckle. Once those are out, you can turn the turnbuckles to loosen it. You only have to loosen one of the turnbuckles. We generally do the forward one, then disconnect that one. You also have to remove the long stainless bar on the starboard side of the mast. The black thumbscrews on the bottom of the mast and on the radar arch must also be removed.
Once this is done, you can drop the mast aft. Just before you get it all the way down, you pivot the radar arch perpendicular to the floor. Finally, you prop up the plastic hinged thing on the floor that the mast rests upon.
The thinking on this set up is pretty impressive. My wife and I dropped the entire mast in about 10 minutes. Same to put it back up.
