It's often lonely on this part of the Tennessee River in regard to other Ranger Tugs. (As a result, I get a lot of questions and nice comments about my Ranger Tug 21', Miss Baker, that I've had for just over a year now.) It's always nice when I return to my slip at Ditto Marina here in Huntsville and see a Ranger Tug moored at one of the transient docks.
Today I visited with John and Laurie Gray aboard their Ranger Tug 27. Their boat is called the "Trilogy" because it's the third RT they've owned. They are from Washington state but started this particular journey from Chattanooga, TN. Talk about boaters -- they actually live on a 40' boat when they're not cruising. It was fun to trade our RT stories -- they've got a few more than I do. Check out their blog on the Tugnuts opening page.
Here's wishing John and Laurie safe, smooth and fun sailing!
