Returning to Ditto Landing in Huntsville on October 21st, Alabama from an hour cruising the Tennessee River, I was pleasantly surprised to find a Ranger Tug docked at the transient dock. I've only had my RT-21 a couple of weeks and keep it in a slip at Ditto. I had a very nice visit with the couple in the much larger RT who are on the Great Loop. Ooops! I didn't get their names but their boat was "Tug-o-My-Heart." If you two see this posting, "Thanks for the tour, the informative chat, and Happy Sailing!" (See, I took your advice and signed up on Tugnuts!)

We were delighted to meet you and give you a tourof our Ranger. You are having a great time with your 21

Ron and Libby

Tug-o-My Heart! They seem to get around. We spent 5 weeks cruising with them in the PNW. We had a great time together. Ron's innovative navigation was superb he called it IFM, I Follow Mike. I experimented with my stealth avoidance system DWLT, Did We Lose Them, but it didn't work. We had great laughs together and were sorry to part ways. We hope to get back together at the February Rendezvous in Florida.

Besides the great boat, the community of Ranger is second to none!!

Just curious if there are any other Ranger Tugs or Cutwaters doing the Great Loop currently, besides Ron and Libby?

We cruised with Ron and Libby from Joe Wheeler to Ditto Landing on Friday after the Great Loop Rendevous . They were our neighbors at Joe Wheeler. I wish we could have continued to travel the Loop with them. Have a great trip up the Tennessee river Ron and Libby ! We are getting vests !

Two more years before we are on the loop full time . There was a 28 Cutwater , Bill Parsons , we met at Ditto and also at Joe Wheeler that is traveling the great Loop he started at Knoxville .

We towed our 26 Cutwater to Ditto Landing and spent 10 days on the Tennessee river. We are now back in Illinois our season is over.
