The dismal swamp ditch of the icw is now open for snowbirds heading to Florida. The 2 locks are operating on normal schedules but duckweed is still a problem on the canal. Clean your strainers often.
We are heading down on the icw late December early January. Hope the weather is calm crossing the Albemarle sound.
