We have a shrink wrapped 2007 R21EC sitting on its trailer. 😀 It arrived here this morning; transported by Sharp Yachts. This is my second time working with them, always a pleasure.

This is my second R21EC, the first was a 2009. The R21EC is my favorite Ranger Tug. If I was traveling any distance, I'd probably go for the R29, or the R31. But, for my purposes this is the boat. Isn't it great Ranger gives us a varied choice?

Need to unwrap it and re-assemble it. Then, to the water!

Hey there Gene,

Congrats and thank you for your continued business! Who did you purchase the boat from?

Thanks again,

Andrew Custis

Hello Gene,

I'm glad to hear you've gotten another 21EC.

Congratulations!

Dave

Congratulations Gene ! It was nice to see this post this morning when I went on line. My Doctor always says that we have to live while we are alive !!!! So enjoy it ! Michael ...

Andrew,

I bought it from msantulli, Michael. See his post above.

Hello Gene,

Does that boat have the broad band radar? If so, I'd like to know how you like it.

Will she live on her trailer or in a slip?

Hello Gene
Congratulations on the new "Nice-N-Easy" .... after you get past the shrinkwrap you have a standing invitation to bring her to Lake Hartwell and run with "Reflections" ....... Dave, that also goes for you and "Undecided" ....... three tugs on the lake would overwhelm these pontoon folks 😀 Ps. Dave, I installed the Blue Sea fuse block ..... good suggestion ...... Thanks again

SGIDAVE, It's labelled "Broad Band", so I guess it is. Used it yesterday. Seems like much cleaner, clearer targets. Better than the HD Garmin radar I had on my Albin trawler. The operating handbook for the unit is loaded with info. Will probably take me several years to master it, if ever.

fran uteg, thanks for the invitation. Might take you up on that. If you're in my area drop by.

As I cruised around the lake yesterday a saw a R21 on a lift at someone's dock. It's just below Brown's Bridge.

SGIDAVE, I recommend the broadband radar. 😱 It is so much better than radar I've used before. I was out last evening watching the sailboat racing. Even among more than 30 boats it was easy to keep track of who was where. My set is an early model, 3G I think. The later model, G4, is supposedly better. I don't have a need for longer range, so this one suits me fine.

It is especially good at detecting close in targets. I was able to pickup boats at less than 20 feet. A friend came along side in his J29 to talk. Tracked him with ease.

With the broadband radar and a rear view mirror, no one can sneak up on me now. 😉
