Our Ranger Tug is 9 years old. She's a 2007 R-25, Hull #7. Holding up pretty well, I think, and the service is still amazing. The guys at Ranger Tugs still treat us like we bought her yesterday.

Congrats. Glad to hear it. 😀

That's very daring in that one picture sliding the boat off the trailer.

Seeing that you have rollers instead of bunks, don't they leave intentions in the fiberglass. After all the boat is about 7000lbs and divide that by the rollers and you get the pressure per roller (approximately)

Actually, we were putting the boat on the trailer to drop in the water after a long winter. The rollers don't indent the fiberglass. They do leave a light scuff mark on the bottom paint. For some reason when we slide her onto the stands for the winter one of the rollers dings the port side of the forward thruster tube but when we put her back on the trailer in the spring no issues.

It's amazing to watch her go on and off the trailer. Especially when the stern comes off of the boat stands. There are two cables holding the boat. One from a regularly positioned electric winch and the other is led to a pulley on the rear of the trailer to a second winch. The two winches counteract each other to hold the boat in place and slide it back and forward. It's pretty safe when done well, which is why I pay someone else to do it 🙂
