Install Webasto heater

We currently have two A/C units installed with reverse cycle heat.
However, please advise, is it possible to now have a Webasto diesel heater installed for the cold nights at anchor?
Not sure if there is space to install a diesel heater with our A/C units possibly in the way.

Hi there,

As the old saying goes, you can achieve anything by throwing enough money at it. 😉

It's possible, but things would be a bit tight for the Webasto. Not sure how that would work out, as we have not done this before. If you have a shop in mind that has done this before, have them look at the boat to judge if they can make the installation.

I think it can be done. We have a 2010 R29 Classic that came with 2 AC units and a Wallas diesel heater on the starboard aft side with controls inside and 2 vents. There was a Genset, but it was removed before we got the boat but there is room still for that too. Our model might have different sized compartments. We were told by the previous owner that it didn't heat the cabin up really warm - haven't tried it in the winter yet - so size properly. Not very thirsty on diesel which is nice We were told.
