Does anyone have a recommendation for an insurance company for a boat based in Canada, (Vancouver).

I use Dolphin in Vancouver. No claims but they’re easy to work with to find something that works for me.

I recently changed to a Navis policy. It cost me a little more but, when comparing wordings, I found there was much better coverage for resultant damage. Worth reading competing wordings (or just feed them into an AI and ask for a comparison).

I'm with Dolphin too with their "RF Tug / Cutwater program" and so far so good. FYI, they have a "mechanical coverage" option if you're feeling especially at-risk.
You'll pay a little bit more but it doesn't take much for a claim to more than make up the difference!
