Having a problem on a ranger 25 volvo d3 150i g. with the intake hose (#11 in the picture). Sea grass blocked off the intake and the hose collapsed flat and the engine heat alarm went off. We cleaned off the intake and took it out again and at full throttle no alarm but I noticed the hose was still going flat but only about half flat this time and no heat alarm. It's odd to me that all the other intake hoses are hard but this one is soft. The Volvo brand hose is pricey at $125. Anyone else have this problem and is there a aftermarket hose that works?
