My marina slip is right on upper Barnegat Bay so I get a really nice view from there.

It was a recent Saturday, lots of boat traffic, when there was a what looked like a "you're in a heap of trouble boy" moment with the Coast Guard. But when I looked at the CG boat it was a type I have never seen before. It was a 25 foot patrol boat, but it was an inboard. Up to then I had only seen Honda outboard versions in my area.

I know its a little blurry. Couldn't be helped. Anyone else see these inboard CG boats?

This is definitely the smallest fire boat I have ever seen!

This was a surprise. Never thought I would see an air boat in New Jersey. In this case our marina is being dredged and we're being told the dredge spoil is going to be placed in the Forsyth National Wildlife Refuge. It's marshy there so the air boat is being used for work in the refuge.

Maybe not as unique, but pretty badass Canada Customs boat with twin 600s on the back!

On a calm day CG had this boat out doing boarding inspections at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel.

I'm a retired USAF pilot and used to fly the C-5 Galaxy. One of our more interesting missions was airlifting the Navy Seal Mark V Specops boat. It pretty much filled the cargo compartment. It'd make a wonderful Great Loop boat, although I'm not sure where you'd put the wine fridge.
