Talking about the interior lights that have a reading light type light with a conical shade that shines downward and more of a "mood" indirect light on the top (which shines through a convex lens, sort of like a clear half marble). There is a three-position switch built into the fixture to select either the top or bottom luminaire.

The top light is inoperative. Without really torquing on it, it doesn't seem to be replaceable. Or is it?

I can't find this particular light in the parts database (apoligies if I'm just not seeing it). Anyone know where to source it? The bulb and/or the entire fixture if the fixture must be replaced?

Cheers,
John

John, I’m not sure I fully understand your issue so to clarify…. On my C30 I have 2 lights in the forward stateroom, 1 on each side of the bed. These lights sound very similar to what you are describing. The switches are incredibly difficult to operate. They rotate to each setting and doing so requires very (very) strong little fingers, not to mention simply reaching the switches is difficult when laying down. As a result, the lights were essentially useless to us. Then a friend with an R31 pointed me towards inexpensive little 4-way push button switches available on Amazon. I bought 2 and within 20-30 very easy minutes I had the old switches out and the new ones installed. The lights are now very easy and comfortable to operate. The switches come in different finishes and match the lights perfectly, so no one can tell a change was made. In my C30 the lights are a brushed nickel finish, while on the R31 they have a brass finish.

I am hoping this link works. It is to Amazon and the vendor is B&P Lamp. They sell both a twist and a push button switch, so you need to be sure you are picking the proper one. I bought the 3-way nickel push canopy switch. https://a.co/d/7Osf3eq

I had problems with the switch on those reading lights so I changed them out to these and I have been very happy with them.
