What product do people use to preserve the cabin teak to keep it looking good?

I just use any good teak oil and rub it in with a lint-free rag.

There are two types of interior wood on the boat that need two different types of maintenance. Described in the Spring Maintenance As The Prop Turns Webinar. Start at the 25 min mark.

I just bought teak oil at West Marine. I sand the surface with 600 grit, apply generously, let sit for 15 minutes then wipe dry. I follow this with a second coat that I wet sand with 600 grit sandpaper, let site for 15 and then wipe dry. It comes out beautiful and smooth and does not catch fibers from shirts, fleece, etc. G

Lemon oil for furniture. Can be purchased at places like Home Depot.
We have used it for years on our various boats. Strong smelling when first applied but it is not unpleasant.

I used teak oil on the steps to my command bridge, which left them with a grey finish (which I like). I have also been told to use Starbrite teak Sealer if you want the finish to maintain the teak coloration.

I use “Old English” furniture oil. It’s similar to high quality lemon oils and works well to maintain the teak color. It’s much less expensive than marine teak oil. It also makes the stainless steel interiors shine like new.

Does anyone else use "Liquid Gold". Works great!
