Hello, anyone out there able to shed light on the "type" of wood used in the interior of a 2013 Cutwater C28?

Specifically, I would like to know the type of plywood used in the shelves that are above the curtains on either side of the cabin. The horizontal piece is 3/4" , the vertical is 1/2" . I need to replace the port side and am trying to get it to match as close a possible. If i knew what flavour of plywood (i.e. - red oak) and the finish I would like to think I could get it close.

Also, the 1/4" panel below the port window is also in need of replacement, if anyone could tell me what plywood/finish was used, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks in advance,
Glenn

Hey Glenn,

I am not positive if we still use the same from 2013 but currently we use a cherry wood for those panels. You could also order those panels direct from us, may need to do some fine adjustments to fit. You can order via email at parts@rangertugs.com. Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Thanks Kevin, I have emailed Parts.

Would it be safe to say the cherry plywood had a finish applied? If so, could you pass along what was used?

Thanks,
Glenn

Thanks Kevin,

The teak oil did the trick - very happy with the results.

Cheers,
Glenn
