Introducing Hopeful Puffin New R27 and New Members

Hello all,

We are very excited to finally be joining you all as Tug owners. Today the Hopeful Puffin will be crossing the Strait from Nanaimo to her new home in Indian Arm BC. Our last boat was a Hunter 31 sailboat so a lot has changed and we are looking forward to figuring out all the whys and wherefores of being tug owners.

We have already learned so much from the boards here and we are sure we will have lots of stupid questions for you guys in the coming weeks/months/years.

Thanks for including us in such a great community and hope to make friends and see some of you out on the water this summer. We have a Welsh Dragon and a Yorkshire Rose on board.

Awesome news about your new R-27. How long did you have to wait to get it in your hot hands.... ? I bet you're excited to get out on it and cruise about. The R-27 is a wonderful tug and I'm sure you will be enjoying it. Your fun now starts...

We have a 'bossy' Wire Hair Fox Terrier (Jake) that always travels with us. In our new R-27/OB which hopefully will be in our hot hands come Aug 11th Jake will really like sitting next to me in our double wide helm seat and help with the 'lookout' duties. 😱

Thank you for the welcome. We have been out all day on HP and cannot believe the response we are getting. Everybody loves it and are so impressed by her. I guess that is common for us tug owners. I know I always wanted to ask about them when I saw them but was too shy. Over the moon.
