Just wanting some real world experience with the trailer your using and your tow rig.
Thanks

We don’t have a RT 31 but we do trailer out Cutwater 30S. We had a custom aluminum trailer constructed for the boat with electric over Hyd brakes and 3 6000 lab axels. We tow it with a Ford F-350 single rear wheel 4x4 truck. We chose to go with a used F350 with a V10 rather than a diesel ( I know the V10 haters will respond🙂. The only issue we have and are trying to correct is an episode of sway once every 100 miles or so. Easley corrected with a tap on the brakes. It is unnerving at first but by keeping speeds around 60 mph it all goes smooth. If the travel lift at your marina has a scale get a real world weight before you have a trailer built. We were extremely surprised when we weighed our boat and trailer and found that with 100 gal of fuel it weighed 17000 pounds.

Good luck.

Hi,

Here at Customer Service we typically use the Dodge 3500 (both normal and dually versions). I have personally towed both factory and sold R31s. No issues on our end. We trailer the boats with the EZ Loader trailers. Fairly easy to load and unload the boat at the boat launch as well. Feel free to contact us for any more questions.

Thanks,
