I'm just a few days away from bringing my boat to Everett for haul out. Kevin from Premier Ceramic Coatings is going to make my new-to-me 2016 C30-CB look like new again! I'm very excited for this work (and some other out of water projects including anodes, dinghy outboard crane, and portlight rebedding) to be done, as these are the last major items on my "for this season" bucket list. After we have used the boat this season, we'll evaluate the other items I have on the list, including the solar.

Kevin has been nothing but the best as far as communication and planning goes, and the reputation for his work is bar none. You should definitely check him out if you haven't got Ceramic already!

Just scheduled Kevin to do our “new to us” 2017 R 29 CB. Unfortunately he is booked pretty solid and won’t get to it for a couple of months! Should be a big improvement to the exterior finish when it is complete.

You will love what your boat looks like after Kevin does his 'magic'. Ours was 7 years old (1385 engine hours) and had spent a year on the Great Loop with us. When we went to pick it up we were blown away...it looked just as good as it did when it was delivered to us new! We compared the new boat pictures vs. the 'after Kevin' pictures and they both look like a new boat 🙂

What was the cost?

How exciting!

Our new R29S is due for delivery this June, and Kevin is schedule shortly afterwards... and Dave, you're so right that Kevin is very accommodating and easy to work with. Our boat will live on a trailer sitting out on the driveway... ceramic coating will make cleaning off all the airborne tree "stuff" easy-peasy.

Cost is based on boat model: LOA, beam width, and S or CB. Give him a call... he'll know your boat.

As Bob mentioned, it depends on the boat. Mine is ~$4,500 including tax.

Kevin's quote for my newer R29 was $3500 plus tax, though after he sees the big scratch I just put in it I expect that to go up a little.

There's nothing like the "before and after" pics after Kevin's ceramic treatment! Mine? Eh, not so much, because we had Kevin work his magic within 2 months of delivery, so it was a brand new boat. Even so, it shined more than before!
Here we are, 2 years later, and it's just as beautiful (sans a couple little 'owner' scratches  ) and just as water-phobic as the day he finished coating her!

My last boat was a dark blue hull that had oxidized badly, and after spending many, many thousands of $$$ over the 6 years I owned her getting twice yearly detail work (polish and wax, etc.), I now realize how much money I've saved after Kevin's treatment!

I'll do most maintenance on my boat... but this kind of detail is best left to the professionals, IMO. The amount of work Kevin puts in before ceramic is what makes the difference!

To those of you getting new boats and scheduling Kevin. I just finished confirming my restoration service, which he cannot do until June. He said the reason he is so booked up is because he is doing pre delivery prep and coating on all new tug deliveries! So before you spend more money on it, you might ask if it has already been done.

So here at premier custom ceramic coating we are not doing all the new boats for Ranger Tug but we have a lot of them on our schedule.
We would have to have a lot larger crew to handle all of the new ones. We finally were able to hire some help so hopefully we will be catching up. We are also waiting to take delivery of our new 2022 r25 in the next few weeks. Looking forward to seeing everyone to at Roach Harbour in September. We are one of the sponsors too. I'll post a few more before and after pictures in my album in the next few week, haven't done that in a while. If anyone is interested in learning more about Ceramic Coating feel free to pm me. You can also look up channel surfing ranger tug, "no more waxing" for a YouTube video that Martin and Lazina did on our service. Thanks Kevin

Thanks for the clarification Kevin, I misunderstood and stand corrected.

Kevin is the BOMB! He did our new R27 a couple of months ago and he’s one of the nicest, particular and most sincere person I’ve ever worked with. It has been a dream to keep clean. We highly recommend him.
