Subject: I've added additional photos of our R-27/OB's forward saloon
I had RT factory re-install the original sturdy hydraulic piston/spring pedestal in my R-27/OB's V-berth to make it the same as when I placed a deposit for it at the Bremerton TrawlerFest. It has made a huge difference for me and the table is now truly very stable and has no hint of being wobbly at all. It very easily lowers and raises much like for the dinette table does. I am very pleased with RT for doing this. I agreed that they should remove the original cup holder front facing extension as IMO it was at a dangerous height for small children to lurch and fall into it and damage themselves with the boat rocking/rolling. Removing this cup holder platform meant that the aft most center cushion needed some stability to avoid it bending downwards under weight. The RT factory understood this issue and without me asking/telling them about it installed two very sturdy I-beams underneath the cushion so that there would be no cause for it the bend under weight. They did a very nice job.
