I have a Jabsco toilet on my 2012 R27. It is original. The touch pad flush controller is inop. None of the four membrane switches cause the toilet to perform when selected. I strongly suspect that this failure relates to a heat shrink butt splice where the factory did not activate the heat shrink on the appliance side and left it open ended during assembly of the boat. My boat is FULL of those open-ended heat shrink butt splices and the open end on the appliance side eventually corrodes and fails.
Before I try to trace the panel wiring to the butt splice, has anybody had one of these touch pad flush controllers fail? If so, what was the fix?
