They say you should once a year remove everything you have stowed on board off the boat and to decided what to keep when putting it back onboard.

Over past few days I'v been removing my stowed gear and still am getting it done. I would estimate I've removed some 500 lbs worth of gear and likely to have another 200 lbs to remove.

It's just amazing how the stowed gear mounts up over time.

Your lucky is thats all you have. My tools and parts are a easy 200 lbs, Extra anchor, chain and rode, lines and fenders, all the stuff in the galley, two TVs, deck chairs, 8 hp outboard, RIB, grill, paddle board, towels, cleaning supplies, add some cloths, Rain gear, couple of binoculars, hand held VHS, Flash lights....... Its scary when you think about how much stuff is onboard, It adds up. I would hate to weigh it all. The sad part is we use it all.
