Karma Cruises to Bell Harbor

Wow, what a difference a year can make! Last year Seattle was clobbered by a cold front that brought along hurricane force winds, temperatures in the teens, driving snow, and frozen waterways!

This year, clouds, light winds, temperatures in the fifties. Wow, what a difference. After spending Thanksgiving at our home in Castle Pines Colorado, we returned to Seattle last evening.

This morning, Bruce and Vicki joined us for a cruise through the locks and then over to Bell. We will join Bruce and Vickie for dinner. We plan to cruise back to Stimsons tomorrow morning and then it will be back to Denver for Maureen. She will rejoin me here in Seattle on Friday.

Ah, it is good to be back home in Seattle after being gone almost two weeks! Oh wait, we don’t live in Seattle……..

We watched from the window as Dave and Maureen safely crossed the tracks and headed south on Alaskan Way. They should be comfortably tucked away on Karma by now. Nice dinner, great evening. I'm sipping the last of the CdP.
