We departed Stimson's at 6:15 this morning under a star filled sky. The breeze was blowing ever so gently out of the Northeast insuring a smooth ride to Downtown Seattle.

Locking through went seamlessly with the assistance of the "lock crew".

As we made our way across Elliott Bay, the sun begins to climb into a clear sky for another incredible day in the PNW.

While we sit here under a beautiful blue sky, Denver is getting pounded with a blizzard! Who says the weather in the PNW is bad?

Karma will be in Bell through early Sunday morning. If you are in town for the boat show, stop by and enjoy a glass of wine.

Looks like a beautiful weekend for Pacific Northwest boating. We are heading out in south sound for the next three days, a completely different environment from Bell Harbor. We'll be at McMicken Island for a night, then a marina in Grapeview, then back to Swantown for a night. Lots of beautiful waters down here, hope to see more Tugnuts exploring and enjoying our part of Puget Sound. Give us a toot if you see us on the water.

Wow! What a weekend in the PNW! High temps of 60 degrees! Crystal clear blue skies. What more could we have asked for? Tomorrow, we head back to Denver, hopefully the home owners association has got our driveway cleared of what looks to be about four feet of snow in our area.

The good news is, I head off to Phoenix for two days on Monday morning. Then it is on to Vegas and Salt Lake City returning to Denver briefly and then back to Seattle on Friday night. Lets keep our fingers crossed that the weather gods continue to bless the PNW with great weather every weekend (it can rain during the week while we all work).

Next weekend we plan to head to Andrews Bay on Lake Washington and hang on the hook for the night.

Does it get any better than this?????

We too took advantage of the beautiful weather in Anacortes and cruised over to Friday Harbor on Thursday. The seas were calm, no wind, beautiful blue skies and only a few boats on the water. Mt. Baker was in its glory with a fresh coating of snow. Friday Harbor wasn't busy at all. 🙂 We woke up this morning to frost on the boat, around 30 degrees outside. The "Nellie Too" was toasty inside as we waited for the sun to warm up the outside. Crusing home we had the door wide open enjoying the fresh air, the warm sun, and again calm waters. We will be posting pictures in our album of our three day adventure.
